The post-doctoral fellow salary starts at NT$56,000/month + 1.5 month bonus.


Academia Sinica
1. Academia Sinica fellow: awarded to only top 10% candidates,higher than NSC salary but the exact amount is awarded on a point basis
2. Post-doctoral fellow: NSC salary scale

Appointment usually lasts for 2 years per term, renewable for another term. Note that you will only have to pay 8 to 10% tax and Academia Sinica will provide comprehensive health coverage for you and family.
