徵求有志從事跨領域生醫/神經科學研究的新成員，與我們一起解構神經傳導的細胞及分子網絡。

這是一個高度跨領域的研究主題，我們結合化學、生物工程、生物物理、以及神經科學的概念與技術，發展創新的工具及方法，並且運用這些科技精準調控或探測複雜的神經傳導現象。

We develop chemical and genetically-encoded tools for neuroscience applications.  This is a highly cross-disciplinary research field.  We integrate concepts and techniques in chemistry, bioengineering, biophysics, and neurobiology, aiming to enable precise manipulation and/or probing of complex neurotransmission in the brain.

生命科學、神經科學、化學或生物物理相關科系學士/碩士畢業，熟悉電生理、幹細胞培養/分化、蛋白質體學、或有機合成 (符合一項即可)。

若有advanced microscopy (confocal, two-photon, tissue clearing/expansion, etc.)、mouse genetics、gene editing (e.g., CRISPR-Cas9) 或使用optogenetics/chemogenetics的相關經驗請在申請時提出，但不是必要條件。

M.S. or B.S. in life sciences, neuroscience, chemistry, or biophysics.  Experienced in one of the following: electrophysiology, stem cell culture/differentiation, proteomics, or organic synthesis.  Please indicate in your application if you have experience in advanced microscopy (confocal, two-photon, tissue clearing/expansion, etc.), mouse genetics, gene editing (e.g., CRISPR-Cas9) or in vivo optogenetics/chemogenetics.

The Tsai lab at the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) at Academia Sinica is looking for a postdoc or master’s level research assistant to work on HIV-1 RNA regulation by epitranscriptomic RNA modifications. Learn cutting edge RNA biology and retrovirology, and obtain publications and career advancing scientific connections. Funded by the Center for HIV-1 RNA studies (CRNA), an NIH/NIAID program.

Potential Projects:

• Regulation of RNA stability by the m6A reader YTHDF2.
• Nanopore detection of m6A levels, poly(A) tail and splice forms.
• Search for unknown RNA modification reader proteins.
