Epidemic Prevention Detail

2022/02/09
In order to strengthen epidemic prevention, COVID-19 testing services are being made available to AS employees

1.  This announcement is based on resolutions made during AS’ 1056th Executive Meeting.

2.  According to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC)’s announcement on December 30, 2021, community testing for the COVID-19 virus will be expanded effective January 1, 2022, with 272 pharmacies nationwide providing free self-testing kits for the general public. If you have respiratory symptoms, you may visit one of those pharmacies to request a self-testing kit after a medical evaluation.

3.  The Infectious Disease Core Facility (ID Core) at the Biomedical Translation Research Center will also be providing COVID-19 Deep Throat Saliva PCR testing services for AS colleagues. Colleagues are advised to apply for these services through their units before using other public resources.

4.  If you do not have any symptoms but your unit has recommended that you undertake such testing, you may purchase a testing kit and apply for reimbursement after approval from your unit.
