In this study, we demonstrated an immunosuppressive mechanism of cancer cells through a , CSN5-mediated stabilization of PD-L1 via TNF-a pathways.  Importantly, inhibition of TNF-a-mediated PD-L1 stabilization in cancer cells promotes the tumor-infiltrating cytotoxic T cell immune response.  Our results indicated that targeting cancer cell PD-L1 stabilization through NF-kB/CSN5 inhibition represents a potential strategy to treat cancers that are associated with inflammatory diseases.
