About Us

The purpose of this core facility is to establish a new core facility for cardiovascular and stroke disease animal models, which will be available to researchers from academia and industry. This core facility will offer a variety of animal surgeries and appropriate analytical techniques for measuring efficacy of administered treatments. By improving researchers’ access to these techniques, the core facility has the potential to speed up translation of new biopharmaceutical therapies and medical devices from the lab into the clinic, as well as to improve the quality of Taiwanese research and increasing the impact of publications.
