Dear colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the ˇ§Novel strategies for intervention in neurodegenerative diseasesˇ¨ Satellite Meeting in Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan, from 30th of August to 2nd of September 2009.

Academia Sinica, the most preeminent academic institution in the Republic of China, was founded in 1928 to promote and undertake scholarly research in sciences and humanities. It is now a modern research institution with a worldwide reputation and a proud tradition. The institute of biomedical sciences (IBMS) was established in the Academia Sinica to carry out research into mechanisms leading to human diseases, especially those which are common in Taiwan. Taipei is Taiwan's capital city and commerce center. It's a big, bustling ultra-modern metropolis with a lively nightlife scene and fine cultural attractions. It's one of the world's most wired cities, where Wi-Fi (wireless Internet) access reaches up to 90 percent of its public spaces.

An excellent scientific program covering various aspects of intervention in neurodegenerative diseases has been planned.

We cordially invite you to participate in this meeting and look forward to a most memorable social occasion.
