工作內容:

徵求有志從事跨領域生醫/神經科學研究的新成員，與我們一起解構神經傳導的細胞及分子網絡。

這是一個高度跨領域的研究主題，我們結合化學、生物工程、生物物理、以及神經科學的概念與技術，發展創新的工具及方法，進而運用這些科技精準調控或探測複雜的神經傳導現象。我們已開發了一系列光遺傳/光藥理學工具，目前正建立電生理以及行為實驗系統進行測試與應用。

We develop chemical and genetically-encoded tools for neuroscience applications.  This is a highly cross-disciplinary research field.  We integrate concepts and techniques in chemistry, bioengineering, biophysics, and neurobiology, aiming to enable precise manipulation and/or probing of complex neurotransmission in the brain. We have developed a series of novel optogenetic/photopharmacological tools, and we are establishing ex vivo and in vivo systems to explore potential applications of these tools.

應徵資格:

生命科學、神經科學、醫藥或生醫工程相關科系學士/碩士/博士畢業，熟悉電生理、顯微影像技術、或小鼠實驗 (符合一項即可)。歡迎有興趣開發optogenetic/chemogenetic tools於神經科學之應用者提出申請。

若專長為cell biology、proteomics、protein design/modeling或bioinformatics，但是有強烈熱忱想參與此跨領域團隊合作者，也歡迎提出申請。

Prospective candidates wishing to employ optogenetic/chemogenetic tools in neurobiology and holding a  B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. degree in life sciences, neuroscience, biomedical sciences, or bioengineering are strongly encouraged to apply.  We are looking for a new member who is experienced in one of the following: electrophysiology, mouse surgery, mouse behavior experiments, or advanced microscopy (image acquisition and analysis).  However, other candidates that are highly experienced in cell biology, proteomics, protein design/modeling, or bioinformatics are also welcomed.
