My job responsibilities include daily management of the Common Equipment Core, which provides common equipment and the state-of-the-art services to support research needs of the IBMS. In addition, I am also in charge of the operation of the Proteomics Core, which offers mass spectrometry-based qualitative and quantitative services for proteomics studies. We have established a wide variety of proteomic-related techniques, covering sample preparation, instrumental analysis, data processing and interpretation. Moreover, our lab is keen on improving and developing new analytical methods and equipment based on mass spectrometry to further enhance the important parameters such as applicability, resolution, sensitivity, etc., and contribute these new methods to frontier biomedical research.
