My major duty is to manage the “Laboratory Animal Facility” and the “Pathology Core Laboratory”. My research interest is in pathological phenotyping, through the pathological examinations to realize the histopathological changes and study the pathogenesis. Further, I use echocardiography/ultrasonography to discover phenotype on heart and abdominal organs. Besides, I use microsurgery induced animal model to investigate cardiovascular diseases, e.g. coronary artery ligation induced cardiac infarction, aortic banding induced cardiac hypertrophy, carotid artery injury to mimic restenosis and arthrosclerosis.
