Tissue preparation
X- Clarity: Tissue preparation
- Perfuse the animal with 1x PBS followed by 4% PFA to remove blood cells.
- Collect the wanted tissues. Trim or slice the wanted tissues if necessary.
- Immerse the tissues in 4% PFA for up to 24 hours at 4℃. The proper fixation time will depend on tissue size.
- Rinse the tissues with 1x PBS briefly. Wash the tissues in 1x PBS for 24 hours at 4℃ to remove formaldehyde residues. Store the tissues in 1x PBS at 4℃ for long term storage.
